About this position:

• Starting wage of $17 - $22 per hour
• Day shift hours range from 7am until 3:30pm
• Night shift hours range from 1:30pm until 10pm
• Fast-paced environment where you're never bored and time goes by quickly!
• Looking for individuals with work experience in food service kitchens to train in one of our specialty kitchen positions: Cook, Lead Prep, Fry Cook, Bread Cook, and Short Order
  • Cook – Prepares a variety of menu items by our standardized recipes with consistency, ensuring quality, taste, and presentation meet Wade’s high quality standards.
  • Lead Prep – Oversees daily prep work by following our recipes, organizing ingredients and insuring that consistency in every product is met.
  • Fry Cook – Specializes in preparing our fried menu items consistently at the highest quality while maintaining food safety.
  • Bread Cook – Hand-cuts and bakes Wade’s signature yeast rolls and cornbread fresh daily, ensuring each batch meets our quality standards.
  • Short Order – Prepares specialty Wade's items in our grill area among other important tasks.

Requirements:

• Must have 2 YEARS of experience in a food service kitchen!
• 18 years of age or older
• Able to work Sunday lunch shift
• Able to be on your feet for the majority of your shift
• Team player
• High energy level & Positive attitude
• Motivated to learn & succeed
• Ability to be at work on time
• Attention to detail and commitment to excellence
